Having studied Christian Science for over forty years and having had so much encouragement from the testimonies of others, I will try to give some word of truth to help another. These years have been full of loving help from God. With the help of patient practitioners, I have been healed. I have also been guided and guarded by divine Love.

When I had been studying Christian Science only a few months, I had a severe attack of tonsillitis. I turned to this religion completely for help. After I had left my work at the factory, I determined to seek the help of the only practitioner I really knew. I met her on the way home and was given the promise of help.

After I arrived home, I was not able to do more than drop across the bed for several hours. Later, I got into bed, and in a short while I went to sleep. When I awakened about three o'clock, every trace of the trouble had completely disappeared. It was wonderful to me, and I was up at five o'clock and prepared breakfast for my brother and father. By seven o'clock I was at my work, having walked about two miles to get there.
