I first heard of Christian Science...
I first heard of Christian Science from an aunt. It proved to be the truth for which I had been seeking, and soon I was given an opportunity to prove that this truth is demonstrable.
One day I had the symptoms of tonsillitis, from which I had suffered before. I decided then and there to turn to God for help. On page 113 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy I found the answer to my problem.
After pondering the statements of Truth on this page, and particularly the one which reads, "God, Spirit, being all, nothing is matter," I realized that if God is Spirit and Spirit is All and "nothing is matter," then nothing could really be troubling me. With this realization came instant healing. I felt confident that God would meet my every need, and it was a wonderful experience to prove for myself that divine Love is indeed able and willing to heal.
