Christian Science has been my only physician throughout my life and has brought me out of a state of nervousness and melancholia. It has been my only guide in every emergency.

I am able to see quite clearly without the aid of glasses, after wearing them for years. This healing was instantaneous. It took place when a practitioner pointed out to me that true vision is "spiritual discernment,—not material but mental," as Mrs. Eddy defines "eyes" (Science and Health, p. 586). I saw that true sight is therefore not dependent on the human organism.

About eleven years ago I found myself without home or income and with three children to support. I realized that only Christian Science could help me. I studied earnestly and consistently, and it helped me greatly in the rearing of the children. What a weight has been lifted from my shoulders as year by year I have learned, with the help of a Christian Science practitioner when necessary, to trust the children to God's care and to spend ample time in loving God, good! I thank God for what He is and for all that He does to support and maintain His creation.
