The
utter simplicity of the fundamental facts of Christian Science makes them readily understood by anyone who loves good, loves God.
To
those who criticized him because his doctrine did not conform to rabbinical law, Christ Jesus replied.
Here
is the way Jesus, our great Master, thought of prayer and the effect of prayer: "Verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Christian Science
teaches that the individual never lacks for guidance in his human affairs.
The
Bible describes the devil, or evil, as "Satan, which deceiveth the whole world" and as "having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time".
The
motto to be found on most United States bills and coins, "In God we trust," is a constant reminder to the nation to acknowledge divine power as essential to its very existence.
