Several
years ago two friends were traveling from one city to another, a distance of one hundred miles.
The
riches of God's love which are bestowed upon man as his heritage can be experienced by mankind individually and collectively as they recognize God's presence and power and utilize the spiritual thoughts coming to them from God, as revealed in Christian Science.
With
compassionate reassurance Christian Science proclaims to a world teeming with vexatious problems that spiritual power, the power of God, meets all types of human need.
How
is it possible for mankind to overcome the manifold discords that have been so prevalent down through the ages?
It
was near the close of Christ Jesus' earthly ministry that he said to his disciples, "These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover".
In
everyday language, reverse and reverses are often associated with ill fortune or financial loss.
One
day, while contemplating the fact of God's allness, His infinite presence and power, a student of Christian Science was suddenly awakened to see the many suggestions of incompleteness or unfulfilled desires she had been accepting as realities.
To
most young people it is a significant event to leave the parental home to make their way in the world.
Christian Science
teaches that God is Spirit, the only true substance and the source of all power and action.
A great
revelation came to Moses when he heard God declare His name to be "I AM".
