REPLACING HEALTH ILLUSIONS WITH TRUE HEALTH

Good health is one of the most sought after of human possessions. Consequently, it is a popular topic in all the various media of communications. Because of this public interest, a great deal is being said and written on how health may be gained and then safe-guarded once it is secured. It is apparent that the reason health seems illusive to so many is the common misconception of its true source and nature.

According to Christian Science, true health is derived from God, the only cause and creator. All that He creates is good; therefore health must be good. Since health is spiritual, a quality of divine Mind, it is not a condition of matter. The Scriptures advise us that man is made in the image and likeness of God; therefore in truth man continuously reflects the wholeness and perfection of Mind.

Since God and man coexist, as do the sun and sunshine, it is impossible for man to lose the source of his health, and it is impossible for man to be outside of the presence of God, divine Principle. Health cannot be present at one time and absent at another, except in mortal belief.
