LET NOTHING ENTER THAT DEFILETH
"Whatever is false or sinful can never enter the atmosphere of Spirit," affirms Mary Baker Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 70). This scientific fact is the basis upon which Christian Science destroys error, sin, disease, discord, and death.
This Science holds to the irrefutable premise that God is the omnipotent creator of the spiritual universe, including man. God's creation is the perfect expression of Him. It includes no matter, or mortal error. It is the kingdom of God, Spirit, in which only that which is good and true exists.
Man, God's image and likeness, is perfect. He exists eternally in God and is not susceptible to evil of any sort. The more clearly this basic truth is acknowledged in our individual human lives, the more perfectly we are able to demonstrate the absolute facts of being.
