I am submitting this testimony with the joyful expectation that it will prove helpful to someone. Today there is so much discussion and speculation regarding missile weapons that I am impelled to share the following experience:

During World War II, I lived in enemy-occupied territory. One night the enemy was launching V-2 rockets, directing them across the Channel to England. Suddenly, I heard the roar of one headed our way. It had obviously gone off course and was low enough to strike our house. I found my thought reaching out to God, and a clear perception of God's serene and unerring government of His universe calmed my thinking. As I dwelt on divine Principle's control of its harmonious universe, I saw clearly that it included no harmful or erring element. It became apparent to me that nothing discordant or out of control could exist in God's universe.

The rocket passed safely over the roof of our house, and I later learned it landed in a large field without exploding. Some days later it was carefully detonated. To me and to those with whom I shared this experience, it was a wonderful proof of God's love.
