"A LITTLE SANCTUARY"

Wherever one may wander in earth's journey, God, Spirit, is right there. Whether one is in what seems to be a depressing valley or walking beside calm waters, God is present. And in His presence there is nothing to fear. He comforts, saves, and heals those who understandingly call upon Him for help. He is, as we read in the forty-sixth Psalm (verse 1), "our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Ezekiel sets forth the same truth of God's ever-presence when, referring to the dispersion of the Israelites which he believed to be God-impelled, he declares (11:16), "Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come."
