Silverton, Ohio (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Silverton, will formally dedicate its church building at 4111 South Avenue, on May 18, at three services, the first at 11 a.m., the second at 3 p.m., and the third at 8 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend these services.

As the result of a meeting held by a small group of Christian Scientists in January, 1943, a decision was made to begin services, which were held between that date and Communion Sunday, July 11, 1943, when the first regular services were held in a storeroom at 7304 Montgomery Road. On November 24, 1943, The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, recognized this group as Christian Science Society, Silverton, Ohio.
