THE RIGHT TO TRUE FREEDOM
The Bible teaches that freedom is a divine right. The Apostle Paul was inspired to include the following counsel in his letter to the Galatians (5:1): "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." And there is assurance of boundless freedom in the opening lines of one of our much-loved hymns (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 83),
God made all His creatures free;
Life itself is liberty.
