RELIANCE ON DIVINE POWER

It is widely believed that the accomplishment of even an unselfish end is dependent, at least in part, upon familiar material methods, certain human associations, or some measure of personal forcefulness.
"Atomic age" and "atomic force" are fearful words often uttered these days, sometimes in appeals for sky watchers and air raid wardens and at other times in announcements of increased production of destructive nuclear instruments.

To those coming within sight of the celebrated Mont Blanc for the first time, the mountain even on clear days is not always immediately visible.

It is with a heart overflowing with loving gratitude that I submit this testimony of the first fruits of my harvesting in Christian Science.
In the Bible we read.
More than forty-five years ago a friend introduced me to Christian Science by giving me a periodical.
I am earnestly and sincerely grateful for the help that Christian Science has been to me for many years.
For the many blessings which members of my family and I have received through the study of Christian Science, I should like to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude.
It was through witnessing the overnight healing of unsightly warts on the face of a friend of mine that I began to study Christian Science.
It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science and for Mary Baker Eddy, the divinely inspired revelator of Truth to this age, that I offer this testimony of the healing power of Christian Science.
I should like to tell of the joy Christian Science has brought to me.
