I am earnestly and sincerely grateful for the help that Christian Science has been to me for many years. It has completely changed my concept of what true substance really is.

Mrs. Eddy writes on page 454 of the textbook, Science and Health, "Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way." And on page 494 she says, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Surely these truths have been proved in my experience.

In 1940 my husband passed on suddenly, and I was left to rear three little girls alone. The oldest was eight, and the youngest, two. There was little insurance, and after paying the bills incidental to my husband's business, only a few hundred dollars were left. The shock and grief of his sudden passing and the fear of the future were almost overwhelming.
