Since the age of eleven, when I...

Since the age of eleven, when I was first enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School, I have been increasingly grateful that my teachers right from the start gave me the absolute truth with which to work. On my first day of attendance the teacher said to me: "In this Sunday School we learn to know and understand God as All-in-all. filling all space."

Shortly after I enrolled in the Sunday School one of my permanent teeth was removed, and I remember thinking, "Well, now, if Christian Science really is the truth, it can be proved, and what the teacher said can be used." From then on, whenever the thought of a missing tooth presented itself, it was immediately replaced with the statement, "God fills all space."

A few weeks later the school dentist called, and when checking my teeth, he said to the nurse marking the card, "Number of teeth missing, none." In amazement I asked if he would check again, as a tooth had been removed only a few weeks previously. He replied, "There is no space there now." From that time to this, almost twenty-five years later, there has never been a doubt as to the efficacy of the Word of God or of the wisdom of endeavoring to work from the standpoint of perfection, no matter what the problem.
