In the Bible we read these words of Christ Jesus (John 10:10): "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." To me, Christian Science is the way of Life. It has brought me better health and more joyous living.

I came into Science for healing, for I had been sick for many years with a severe nervous condition, diagnosed by the doctors as a kind of insanity which would grow more serious over the course of years. I did not receive any help from medicine and had no faith in it. It seemed that I should have help from my prayers, but no help came. Then a friend of ours had a wonderful healing through Christian Science, and my husband asked me why I did not try it; so I did.

I had not been able to sleep at night for many months, but the first night after I saw a practitioner, sleep came naturally, and form then on, there was no more difficulty along that line. My healing, which came during that time, was an outstanding one, and words can never express my gratitude to God for it.
