Christian Science has shown me the way of Life. I have been a student of this Science for more than twenty-five years, and through my earnest study and application of this wonderful truth, all my needs have been met. Disappointments have been replaced with blessings, and I have experienced "beauty for ashes of the vanished years" (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 412). I have many times proved God's tender care.

I should like to tell one such experience in the hope that it may help others. One morning I stumbled and fell face forward on the sidewalk with great force. I received cuts and bruises on my forehead and a badly injured arm. Although I was stunned, I was conscious of those around me. I was lifted up to my feet, and someone said that I should go to a hospital. Others around me were in agreement with this, but I insisted that I should be taken home.

I was taken home, and at my request a practitioner was called. At once I felt much peace and harmony, and these words from the Christian Science Hymnal came to me and comforted me (No. 317): "Still, still with Thee." When the practitioner arrived, he began to declare aloud the truth of God and man. The declarations he made of man's oneness, or unity, with his Father-Mother God separated my true selfhood so completely from the argument of mortal mind that the suffering did not seem to be a part of me. In addition, the practitioner read to me from the Bible and from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
