The priceless nature of the teachings...

The priceless nature of the teachings of Christian Science has been brought home to me so surely that my gratitude is deep and sincere. For this reason and for the many blessings that have come to me through the study and practice of Christian Science, I feel impelled to express my gratitude.

I have learned through my study that God is Love and that man expresses Love, and this realization has helped me to root out of my consciousness a great deal of fear. I saw something of the truth of the Scriptural words (I John 4:18), "Perfect love casteth out fear." fear of new experiences, of disease, of being inadequate in a situation, and many other fears have been overcome through a clearer realization of the ever-presence of Love and the understanding that, as Mrs. Eddy tells us (Science and Health, p. 475), "Man is idea, the image, of Love."

Early in my Sunday School experience I learned that God is Mind, the only Mind, and that because man is God's expression, he has all the intelligence he needs. This knowledge has helped me to accept any position offered me and to progress through the years in a way that would never have been possible otherwise, for an inferiority complex had threatened to hold me in bondage. Like Paul, I have come to be grateful for those experiences which turn me to God. Christian Science is teaching me to listen for and rely on the one infinite Mind alone to guide me, and freedom from much limitation has been achieved.
