A number of years ago, when I was young in Christian Science, I was at home alone with my little daughter, who was very sick and delirious. In my great need I asked God to direct me what to do. As I turned around, I saw a Christian Science Hymnal on a chair nearby. I picked it up and opened to these words (No. 390):

How great the promise, could there greater be?
Ask what thou wilt, it shall be done for thee.
Ask what thou wilt, but O, remember this,
