LIGHT REVEALING MAN'S TRUE STATUS

The gravity of the efforts of the powers of darkness to bring the world under the shadow of serfdom might well be weighed today. Subterfuge, deception, and many other means are employed to becloud the thought of persons and nations and thereby bring about a complete surrender of human rights. Christian Science shows us how to protect ourselves from the ignominious practices involving mental manipulation and suppression. Science does this by revealing that God, divine Mind, alone governs all.

God, Mind, being omnipotent, is in supreme control of all His creation. And Mind, when understood, nullifies all so-called counter control. The penetrating light of Truth, the power of intelligence, reveals the fallaciousness of the despotism of personal rule and exposes all phases of its spurious authority. God's flawless divine government opposes any action or instrumentality that attempts to impose on the legitimate right of the individual.

The acute need of mankind is for spiritual light. How, but by spiritual enlightenment, can individuals learn and understand the supreme control that Mind, God, holds over all? By discerning the true basis of understanding, through the spiritual illumination gained by the study of Christian Science, the entire human family must emerge from darkness.
