In our Christian Science periodicals we often read of people having healings just from reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I had a wonderful healing through reading "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy.

A friend gave me a new copy of this book and recommended that I read the article entitled "An Allegory" (pp. 323–328). Shortly afterward, while I was swimming, I wrenched my back. Later I had trouble getting up and down. I decided to read the article my friend had recommended, and after doing so, I fell asleep. When I awakened the next morning, I was completely free.

I am so grateful for this healing and for many other blessings, such as supply, employment, and harmony in my work. Also I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for the wonderful privilege of serving as an usher.
