Lake Forest, Illinois (First Church).

Sunday, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Lake Forest, will be dedicated. There will be two services, one at 11 a.m. and the other at 3.30 p.m.

The first regular service was held in February, 1932, in the Masonic Temple, which was the group's meeting place for services for several years.

In 1939 the property at Washington Road and Deerpath was chosen, and plans for a New England type church were accepted. The cornerstone was laid in December, 1948, and in September, 1949, the Sunday School wing was completed. Services were held there until April, 1952, when the auditorium was opened.
