Like many others who have been helped and healed by the testimonies in our periodicals, I feel impelled to share the blessings which the understanding of Christian Science has brought to me and mine.

I first sought the help of this Science on the advice of a friend when I was suffering from hemorrhoids. A relative of mine had undergone an operation for a similar condition, but it had returned; so I was not confident that the medical process would completely free me. I visited a Christian Science practitioner, who patiently combated my doubts and fears regarding the practicality of Christian Science in physical healing. She presented to my thought such a clear picture of man as the perfect reflection of God that I was inspired with a glimpse of "a new heaven and a new earth" (Rev. 21:1), available to us now, and I was healed.

Through this experience I saw that it must surely be the same law utilized by Christ Jesus which was operating in our own day. With this joyous conviction I began attending regularly the Wednesday testimony meetings and Sunday services at a Church of Christ, Scientist. Also I began to study daily the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. My children, three and five years old respectively, were enrolled in the Sunday School. They are now married, with children of their own, and have never had need of a doctor or druggist in all these years. Periodical attacks of pain, accompanied by short fainting spells, departed from my husband's experience, and at threescore years and ten he has a more abundant sense of health than he had thirty years ago.
