RADIO PROGRAM No. 146 - Can Religion Be Scientific?
On this program Mrs. Dixie Taylor Douglass of Washington, D.C., told of her own experience. The program was as follows:
Speaker: In this age of the atom, many of the world's leading statesmen and thinkers are calling for greater use of spiritual resources. Today, we'd like to explore with you the way to use such spiritual resources effectively, and the actual, present-day results which prayer can bring.
Because of the amazing progress of the physical sciences, many believe the teachings of religion have little meaning under present-day conditions. To this we'd like to present an answer we think you'll find interesting. Quite simply, this answer is that Christianity itself is Science, that within the teachings of the MAster, Christ Jesus, may be found the Science which explains God and which is capable of scientific proof.
