I have known of Christian Science...
I have known of Christian Science for many years, and my family and I have had numerous healings.
One healing came about in this way: I had been invited to attend an annual Christian Science association meeting and was looking forward to seeing my friends and to the inspiration of the address. The day before the meeting, I awoke with a distressing condition in my right shoulder. I could scarcely dress myself and could not use my right arm to lift anything or to feed myself. I worked prayerfully to know the truth, but I found myself worrying, thinking that I could not go to the meeting. Finally I said to myself, "Are you going to let mortal mind keep you from the good you would receive?"
I replied, "I am not." I went on my way without further worry, and the healing came. The lesson I learned will be remembered.
I am very grateful, and I thank God every day for Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Gertrude E. Spencer, St. Paul, Minnesota.
