UNINVOLVED

All evidence would seem to say
that false belief is holding sway,
has bound man by its codes and laws,
defiled his birthright with its flaws,
deluded him with error's plea
to give the dream reality.
But actually man cannot know
or be involved in mortal woe,
for perfect Mind created all.
Whence comes a so-called mind to fall
asleep in matter's night and dream
of an existence that would seem
to be apart from God? There is
no other consciousness but His.
