Because I have been helped so much by other people's testimonies, I feel that I should express gratitude for the many blessings I have received. I have had numerous healings through help from practitioners and also through my own work. Members of my family have likewise been benefited and have had some outstanding healings. One of my first healings was of a nervous breakdown.

We were wonderfully cared for in finding a home during World War II when we were told there was nothing to be had. My mother and also my daughter, whose husband was overseas, were with us, and it was necessary that we have a place adequate for all. We were able to find a place which met our needs and were cared for in all ways.

We have had healings of colds, headaches, and astigmatism. When very small, our daughter was sick much of the time with stomach trouble and childhood diseases. I was new in Christian Science, but my desire was to have Science help for her. God did not fail us, for our daughter was completely healed.

My husband had a healing of sprained muscles in one hip, a condition resulting from an accident. He was also healed of a badly cut finger, which had been injured in a piece of power machinery. He asked for help in Christian Science and went about his work as usual. The healing was complete, and there were no further bad effects from the experience.

For all of these healings and many others, I am grateful. I am also grateful to the practitioners who have helped me, for class instruction, and for the privilege of serving in a Christian Science Society as a Reader and in various other capacities. My prayer is to be more helpful to the Cause of Christian Science and to all mankind. My thanks go out to God for His goodness to the children of men; I am grateful as well to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.— (Mrs.) Alta Corson, Olathe, Kansas.
