I wish to acknowledge with gratitude the healing power of the Word of God as demonstrated by the Master, Christ Jesus, and later scientifically set forth by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. Many years ago, I was healed through Christian Science of eye trouble, and I wish to share my experience with others in the hope that it may help someone.

When I was a lad in high school, my school chum and I entered into a conversation on Christian Science. He was at that time a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School. His remarks concerning the beneficial effects of his religion were so comforting and appeared so logical that they arrested my attention, and I listened attentively.

The brother and the sister of my chum joined in by telling of their own healings, which were accomplished solely through the application of the revealed truth as Christ Jesus demonstrated it. Their words were indeed encouraging, and they assured me that if I would study Christian Science, the eye trouble would disappear and I would not have to wear glasses.
