"LET THERE BE LIGHT"
"Let
there be light." I walked in darkness,
Not knowing that I saw the universe and man
With only mortal eyes. And then
The first bright star of Truth shone forth:
I daily prayed for love to fill my life,
And eagerly beheld man as the true idea of God—
Of perfect Being—spiritual.
Immortal, holy, free.
"And there was light." With ascending thought
My eyes were opened to the full radiancy
Of the love and might of omnipresent God,
Reflected by harmonious man.
With grateful heart. I walk in light:
"I and my Father are one."
