It would take too long and fill...

It would take too long and fill too many pages for me to tell of all the wonderful blessings which I have received through Christian Science, but I must express my gratitude for some of the proofs I have had of God's love. Since I was brought up in this religion and attended Sunday School from the age of three, my life has always been full of blessings.

I should like to relate a healing of a fractured shoulder and arm in the hope that it may help others to know of God's wonderful works. Following an accident I was unable to move my left arm. However, I declared immediately that I was God's child and in His care, where accidents are unknown. Then I called a practitioner, who told me to hold to the truth that God is All-in-all. Such loving help was given that all fear left me. I went home and managed to undress, although the condition of the arm was apparently serious. However, I knew that in reality we do all things through God, not of ourselves, and I had no fear.

After a restful night I dressed and went to my office. As I had difficulty in my typing, however, it was obvious that I had had an accident, and I was required to have X rays taken. They showed a fractured shoulder and arm with other complications, and I was told to report the next morning for an operation. Knowing that the time had come to take my stand, I told the doctor that I wished no medical aid, as I was a Christian Scientist. He was very much upset at this decision and said that Christian Science could never heal such a condition as mine. I replied, "All things are possible to God."
