I was introduced to Christian Science in 1922 while suffering from a nervous breakdown. A dear friend sent me Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I began at once to study it, together with the Bible, and spent many hours daily in doing so. This was the beginning of a complete reformation in my life. After I had learned some valuable lessons my healing came, and I was again able to care for my young children and household.

At this time our infant son was healed of eczema. Only two treatments by a Christian Science practitioner were required. He and his sister were quickly healed of children's diseases. colds. dogbite wounds, and effects of accidents. Difficulties in school were also overcome through Christian Science. Our son was healed of heart trouble, and the healing was confirmed by a medical examination when he applied for life insurance.

My husband was freed from inflammatory rheumatism and also from the smoking habit of long standing. More recently he was healed of an alarming foot trouble when he relied steadfastly on the teachings of Christian Science and declared that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword" (Hebr. 4:12). I was cured of an organic disorder by the patient, loving help of a practitioner and have also been healed of a sprained ankle, influenza, headaches, and burns. Lost articles have been found, and business problems have been met throughout these years by our obedience to the Bible admonition (Prov. 3:5), "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
