In Isaiah we read (41:10)...

In Isaiah we read (41:10), "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." In my study of Christian Science I have found the method whereby to clear my mental storehouse of worthless material and fill it with things of real value.

I became interested in Christian Science through a friend who invited me to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting. The truths I heard answered my longing for a religion that would show me how to know God and prove what He would do for us. I at once took up the earnest study of Science to know more of the wonderful truth that can heal mankind of sickness, sorrow, lack, and sin. Two years of attendance at a Christian Science Sunday School gave me much help in solving some of my many problems.

I had come to this country from Russia with only a grammar school education, and it was necessary for me to work at various occupations to help support our family of five. My first two years of Christian Science were quite a struggle. I read Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy over and over, but I did not make much progress. Help from a practitioner brought light to see the oneness of God and the allness of good. Gradually this light shone through my darkness of fear and limitation.
