NOTHING GOOD IS EVER LOST

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Sylvia had been a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School for several years. Here she was learning how to use many truths of God and of man, His image and likeness. She was learning that when we trust our Father-Mother God to care for all our needs, we can never lose anything good, but we have all good to enjoy.

One sunny afternoon in the fall, Sylvia and two of her friends were playing amongst the fallen leaves in her yard. The leaves were very beautiful. Some of them were brown, some were yellow, and others were different shades of red. It was great fun to see who could rake the highest pile.

When they stopped playing, Sylvia ran happily into the house. Suddenly her face lost its look of joy, and she cried out, almost in tears, "Oh, Mother, I've lost my ring!"
