I wish to express my sincere gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, through whose revelation of Truth the following healing came to me.

As a girl I experienced for many years a severe throat condition, Which troubled me most of the time during each winter and resulted in my being absent from school for weeks at a time. After I married and became the mother of two children this trouble still continued.

Christian Science had been presented to me, and I occasionally read the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. A friend suggested that I read the ninety-first Psalm and ponder its spiritual meaning as seen in the light of Christian Science. This I did for several days. One morning when I awakened the suggestion came to me that I remain in bed. Then the still small voice of divine direction said, "Read the ninety-first Psalm." I listened and obeyed.
