Increasing Interest in Christian Science

There is reason for rejoicing this year in having had several calls for addressing groups of young people who wanted to hear directly from us what Christian Science has to say to them.

When in one of these talks the fact was related that Christian Science had a number of its members serving as chaplains in the United States Army, the presiding pastor mentioned that during World War II, when delegated by the Ecumenical Council of churches to inspect war prisoners' camps in France, he encountered a lot of difficulties, and that it was a Christian Science chaplain who was the most friendly and obliging official whom he met and who helped him to fulfill his task.
