Words fail to express my gratitude to God for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and for our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us Christian Science.

A gastric trouble of more than thirty years' duration was healed for me through the patient help of a practitioner, who firmly but lovingly pointed out faults of character which needed to be overcome. When they were mastered the physical healing resulted.

Before the healing was complete I was staying in the home of a friend who was not a Christian Scientist. Seeing my difficulty, my friend insisted on calling a doctor. When he came and learned that I was a student of Christian Science he said: "Stick to Christian Science. It is the only thing that has ever helped you or ever will."
