Registration

Cards for registering pupils are sold by The Christian Science Publishing Society and can be ordered through any Christian Science Reading Room. Space is provided on the form for a check mark to indicate whether the child is attending as a regular pupil or as a visiting pupil. In The Mother Church Sunday School this card is filled out for every child who attends. Visitors' cards are filed separately from those of regular pupils; and if a child comes who has visited before, his card is brought from the file so that a new one is not required.

Some branch churches prefer to have their registration-enrollment card made up locally to conform to special requirements. For example, some branches require the signature of one or both parents. No provision is made for a signature on the card which is sold by the Publishing Society. In some Sunday Schools children, when registering, must be accompanied by parents. This is not a requirement in The Mother Church Sunday School. It is expected, however, that registration clerks will be alert so that no pupil will be accepted contrary to the wishes of the parents.
