I am grateful that when Christian Science was presented to me my thought was open enough to receive it as the truth. Immediately I knew that it would always be my religion. I threw away all material remedies and ever since have depended on God, as revealed through the study of the Bible and of Science and Health and other writings by Mrs. Eddy. God has never failed me.

In our home we have experienced many healings. When my family was growing up, scarlet fever, pneumonia, measles, whooping cough, intestinal influenza, and many unnamed difficulties were healed through Christian Science treatment. I have been sustained in good health for many years through the study and application of the truth.

When it became necessary for me to maintain a home for two growing boys, Christian Science was a constant source of courage and strength. When these boys were called into the service of their country, confidence and assurance of God's loving care came through understanding prayer, and for this I shall never cease to be profoundly grateful.
