IN SCIENCE
In Science. In reality, where else is there? What else is there? Actually everything in the universe is included in this infinite scientific truth of being, which is endlessly unfolding through all existence. Paul certainly perceived this fact when he declared to the Athenians (Acts 17:28), "In him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." We must see that actually we are all in and of the one infinite Being. This does not mean only followers of certain religions, men of certain nations, or selected numbers, but all—every individual. In reality Mind, God, is the only Mind there is, impartial and all-inclusive. There is nothing extraneous to or outside of this Mind. Therefore, there cannot be any outsiders.
It must be understood, however, that these statements are written from the standpoint of divine Science, of the perfection of reality, and must be proved by us all. These immutable facts must appear to human consciousness. The new birth comes to each one in his own way and in his own time. Full spiritualization of thought cannot be accomplished overnight, but goes on progressively through daily spiritual growth.
Through divine Science one begins to know God as Mind, wholly good, all-knowing, all-controlling. And he finds that false, imposed beliefs begin to lose meaning, power, and significance. Understanding the truth of man in God's image, one begins to replace false traits of character with the real and true nature of being. Mere human opinions, criticisms, disappointments, regrets, yield to the truth that there is actually only one kind of man —perfect man—reflecting the one perfect God. One finds himself feeling more humility, patience, kindliness toward all, and having a more continuing expectancy of good. As one perceives God as ever-present Love, meeting all human needs, chronic fears begin to lose their supposed grip on his consciousness, and a sense of confidence, tranquillity, and dominion appears.
