The greatest blessing of my life is Christian Science. It came into my experience many years ago when my mother was healed of a serious heart ailment through absent treatment by a practitioner who lived in another state.

Several years ago, while a guest in the home of my sister, who is a consecrated Christian Scientist, I was healed of diabetes. For the loving care and patience manifested by my sister and her husband while I was in their home and for the fruitful weeks of study and progress we had together, I am humbly grateful. The healing came when, through gratitude and the desire to be more obedient to God and to the teachings of Christian Science, I was led to search my thoughts for "the little foxes, that spoil the vines" (S. of Sol. 2:15) and to correct these errors with the truth.

When our daughter accepted employment in a distant city and another loved member of the family moved many hundreds of miles distant, I was freed from a false sense of responsibility and of feeling separated from loved ones. I am happy to say each individual involved has been greatly blessed. Class instruction from a loving teacher and the annual association meetings have indeed brought me much joy.
