In gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for teaching mankind how to apply the unchanging rules of Truth in daily experience, I give this testimony. The study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy has opened my thought to the certainty that the teachings of the Bible are practical and that God's promises are for all ages and all peoples. With the Psalmist I can say (Ps. 119:105), "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

Much fear of people, of lack, of the future, and of sickness has been destroyed by my pondering the truth that God made man in His own image and gave him dominion, as stated in the first chapter of Genesis. For many years I manifested a poor memory. At last I came to realize that God, Mind, is unchanging; therefore, memory, a faculty of Mind, must be constant. As I became aware of this fact, I realized that I frequently used poor memory as an excuse for not doing what I did not want to do. Thus it was brought to light that the error to be destroyed was self-will. The proof that this self-analysis was correct lies in the fact that since this error was overcome my memory has been good.

A physical healing for which I am grateful was that of a very painful bladder condition accompanied by lack of control. Late one Saturday night the condition became acute, although I had declared vigorously that discomfort could not attach itself to me without my consent. After asking my husband to help me by prayerful work, I opened the Christian Science Hymnal to Hymn No. 144. The words that held my attention were,
