"PILGRIM ON EARTH"

His steadfast gaze beholds the heavenly city,
and thither are his hastening footsteps bound;
his trusted comrades, faith and prayer, attend him,
and Love's protecting mantle wraps him 'round.

Intrepid pilgrim, oft by danger challenged,
and oft beset by wilderness and night;
but prayer o'ercomes each foe, surmounts each trial,
while faith holds high a God-inspired light!
