Una Lias

We waited, with the upper rooms of thoughtPrepared for Truth, with hope and faith and loveAll ready for the message from above,The bread of heaven with humble longing bought.

And then the tender words began to fall,The gentle words, empowered by the Word;And comfort came, and peace, to those who heard.The warmth of Love was brooding over all.
