I wish to give my testimony in gratitude to God for the healing power of Christian Science. Through its teachings an unhappy sense of home was replaced with much happiness, and fear and lack gave way to freedom and supply. Membership in The Mother Church and a branch church followed a better understanding of Church as defined on page 583 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

When my husband passed on suddenly, I was enabled to have such a clear consciousness of eternal Life that the sense of loss was overcome. Then the way was opened for me to have a very harmonious home with a student of Christian Science. I have been guided in the disposal of property and have been healed of ptomaine poisoning, broken ribs, shingles, burns, and colds.

One of the first healings I had was that of eczema, which covered my scalp and a large portion of my body. I had been to several specialists for medical aid, but they had said that my case was incurable. When I asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner, I began to improve at once. The healing was not completed for some time, but with occasional help from the practitioner and my holding to the truths she gave me to study, fear, worry, and false responsibility were removed from my thinking, and finally I was free. This healing occurred over twenty years ago and has been permanent.
