THE SIGN OF THE GENUINE

Would it not arrest the attention of those accustomed to see the familiar seal on Mary Baker Eddy's books if they found a book purported to be "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" without it? With God-inspired wisdom Mrs. Eddy provided this registered seal which appears on the cover of all her published writings. This seal is the cross and crown encircled with the command given by Jesus to his followers, "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons."

Christian Science is a reinstatement of primitive Christianity, and these ringing words of Jesus, his imperative command, are thus always before the thought of the student of our Leader's books. Jesus' command was for his followers of all time, and its presence in the circle around the cross and crown emphasizes the importance of our obeying it.

Today we have abundant proof that the sick are being healed by spiritual means. Convincing testimonies of the healing efficacy of Christian Science may be heard at the Wednesday testimony meetings of all Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies. Authenticated testimonies of healing may also be found in every issue of The Christian Science Journal, the Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science in its various editions.
