RENEWAL

Be thou reborn. Be thou reborn
The child of Truth thou art,
The blesséd of supernal Love,
The innocent of heart.

With tender grace shall Christ efface
All sin and servitude
And fill thy days with songs of praise
That God indeed is good.

His gentle will can work no ill.
How false are want and hate.
Creator and creation stand
Complete, inviolate.

Whatever fears have dimmed the years,
However deep the scars,
In Him art thou as perfect now
As when He formed the stars.
