Christian Science has met all my needs for the past twenty-five years, and I am deeply grateful for the understanding of God that has unfolded to me through the study and application of its teachings. I have experienced many physical healings, among which was the overcoming of a severe heart condition. The law of God, as revealed in Christian Science, has healed different members of my family of pneumonia, headaches, colds, and many other discordant conditions, both physical and financial.

When a child, my daughter was healed of measles by the reading of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. At one time another member of my family had constant headaches, from which he found no relief. One evening, while prayerfully working on this problem, I opened the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, to page 424, where we are told that accidents are not known to immortal Mind. The thought came to me that headaches are also unknown to this Mind. The sufferer was instantaneously healed, and the healing has been permanent.

An outstanding healing in our home was experienced by one of my sons after he had fractured his leg. I was very young in Christian Science at that time, and I put the child under the care of a doctor. The leg grew worse, becoming swollen and inflamed, and at times the boy was delirious. After a long period of delirium he became conscious and asked that the doctor be dismissed and that a practitioner be called. Within twenty minutes after the practitioner began working on the case, the leg opened and began to drain, and within a very short time it was completely healed. This boy later became an outstanding athlete in his school.
