"To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," writes Mary Baker Eddy (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Pref., p. vii). I know that this is true, because my family and I have found our days big with blessings. We have had many healings through the application of the truth. Some of these healings have come through the help of a practitioner, and others have come from my own work. I know that when Christian Science is rightly applied it never fails. For the wonderful privilege I had of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, I am deeply grateful.

When I was a child I was so badly stricken with a disease that I could not walk. My father, who was not a Christian Scientist, became very fearful and called in the family doctor, who pronounced the condition tuberculosis of the bone and said that I would never walk again. My mother, who was very new in Christian Science, stood firm in maintaining the truth, and when the doctor returned on the third day I was out playing. He could hardly believe his eyes and said that the disease surely could not have been as bad as he had thought. I was completely healed, and the difficulty has never returned.

I have seen many demonstrations of God's loving protection and care. I have been healed of arthritis and of a very nervous condition. Words fail me when I try to say how grateful I am for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. I am grateful to God for revealing Christian Science to Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, and I am glad that she listened to Him and then shared His beautiful truths with all of us.
