Many times I have given audible testimony at Wednesday evening meetings in Christian Science churches. Now I want to share my gratitude with the entire Field, that it may help others as I have been helped through the written testimonies appearing in our periodicals.

For over forty years I have been blessed by the teachings of Christian Science, and for thirty-nine years of that time I have enjoyed the privilege of church membership, serving on most of the committees of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. For three years I had a wonderful experience as Second Reader.

On page 369 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read, "The prophylactic and therapeutic (that is, the preventive and curative) arts belong emphatically to Christian Science, as would be readily seen, if psychology, or the Science of Spirit, God, was understood." The preventive power of Christian Science has been evident in my experience, as I have had few serious physical problems to meet.
