"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision," writes Joel (3:14). God is very near to us in the valley of decision. He uplifts and strengthens us always.

During a very trying time when I was suffering from neurasthenia the thought came to me that no longer was a practitioner's help necessary and that I must do my own work. This thought brought me into "the valley of decision," but I was given the courage to go forward alone. From that time my healing began.

I saw how unreal is the darkness of mortal thought, and the light of Truth began to permeate my thinking. Many times discouragement attempted to get the better of my uplifted thought, but the right decision had been made, and the complete healing resulted. How wonderful is God's law that through it we can demonstrate man's true selfhood, made in His likeness.
