In obedience to Isaiah's command (42:10), "Sing unto the Lord a new song," I wish to give my song of praise for the glorious and marvelous blessings I have received through Christian Science.

I became acquainted with this Science in 1946 through the mother of an imprisoned comrade. I had brought her a letter from her son, who was still in the prisoner-of-war camp from which I had been released. She asked me to get her some Christian Science literature, which she could not obtain where she was living. In response to my request at a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, in another city, I was given two copies of The Herald of Christian Science, which I studied thoroughly before taking them to my friend's mother.

When I had read them I knew that I had found the religion which I had been longing for and was very happy. As soon as possible I procured the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and visited a practitioner, who lovingly explained the teachings of Christian Science to me.
